We do not have any fluent Spanish speaking Providers. We have two Providers that are able to speak “medical Spanish” for the purpose of the visit as well as several Medical Assistants that can translate for Spanish speaking patients.

Aspen utilizes Phreesia (a secure patient registration system). As a courtesy to our patients, they will receive a text notification and an email three days before their appointment and the day of their appointment. Please respond to the prompts to confirm, request to reschedule or cancel your appointment,

Yes, we do offer same-day appointments for Patients who are experiencing acute medical issues that require immediate attention. Spaces are limited, so contact the office as early as possible to request a same-day appointment.
If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital Emergency Room for treatment.
We make every effort to accommodate patients as quickly as possible. Same day appointments are available for acute visits. Typically, we can schedule Patients within a few days. The exception to this is if patients wish to schedule with a particular Provider or need a particular day & time that is filled. In which case it may need to be scheduled further out.
If you are a new patient, please arrive 10-15 min early for your appointment.
For every appointment we ask that you bring:
- Your insurance card(s)
- Picture identification.
- Current Medications you are taking. This allows the Provider to review and avoid any interactions as well as insure the pharmacy has not may any errors or inappropriate substitutions.
Patients who are more than 15 minutes past their scheduled appointment will be given the option if available, to be seen at the end of the morning/ afternoon. If not, late arrivals will need to be rescheduled. Priority will be given to patients who arrive on time.
Most insurance cards change yearly. We want to make sure we have the most up-to-date information available so your insurance company will pay the claim for your visit, your lab work, and approve referrals.
Yes, you may schedule a physical as your first appointment. However, we cannot supply lab orders if needed until the visit day. Patients will need to schedule a follow-up appointment to review lab results if needed.

Given the time lapse, patients will need to re-establish service with their Provider of choice. During the visit to re-establish the Provider will review patients recent medical history, health concerns, and a review of current medication. Please contact the office directly to schedule a New Patient appointment and supply updated insurance information.

Yes, patients are welcome to bring anyone with them to the appointment that might be helpful or of comfort. Please keep in mind that your private health information will be discussed during your visit; it is advised that you only bring those with whom you are comfortable sharing this information into the exam room.
Patients who would like to choose a family member or friend with whom Aspen can discuss their care, will need to complete a Release of Medical Information form, available upon request at the Front Desk or on our website.
Yes, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service dogs are allowed to accompany patients to their medical appointments. Please inform staff when scheduling your appointment that your service animal will be accompanying you.

Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are mid-level health care professionals who are nationally certified, and state licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. Both Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioner’s work on healthcare teams and can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication.
